Tie-Down
All gliders and trailers shall be tied down when parked.
On the ice all the trailers and gliders are secured to the ice with at least three ropes each. You drill holes in the ice and tie the rope to a wooden stick (tree branch), put the stick underneath the hole like a hooPut the airbrakes in the open position when the glider is parked but not tied down between flights. Damage caused by equipment not adequately tied down, will be charged to the owner of the inadequately tied down equipment.
